Important Update 2025
The Irish Baptist College is pleased to inform you that the Training Management Committee, in their meeting on Monday 18th August 2025, made the decision to pursue an offer from the University of Chester to provide emergency validation for a period of up to six years, subject to final approval and satisfactory due diligence by Chester.
The College has enjoyed a very positive relationship with Chester in the past and is delighted that this new chapter will enable us to safeguard the teaching of returning students across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, as well as permit recruitment for the coming academic year.
This new arrangement provides valuable time to seek a long-term validating partner for IBC over the next couple of years.
This development is a clear answer to prayer. In just three weeks, the Lord has opened the door to enable the College to continue our mission to magnify Christ, advance the gospel, and strengthen the church.
Thank you for standing with us during these challenging weeks. We now look forward with anticipation to the start of teaching in September and the continuation of training men and women for Christian service.
