Study Areas

An attractive range of options is open to students who choose postgraduate study through IBC. These include:

  • Old Testament Studies
  • New Testament Studies
  • Church History and Historical Theology
  • Philosophy and Christian Ethics
  • Pastoral Theology
  • Prospective students are invited to discuss their areas of interest within these broad subject areas with the appropriate supervisor[s] at IBC.  For further details, or for an informal interview and meeting, contact the College Secretary or Registrar.

    Tuition Fees

Education grants are not normally available for postgraduate study, but you should make enquiries of your local Education and Library Board nonetheless, since funding of a discretionary nature is occasionally made available to students.

The College endeavours to keep postgraduate fees at a reasonable and manageable level.  For current rates, see the Fees page or apply to the College Registrar.

    Individual Attention

The Irish Baptist College is a relatively small institution where tutors and students meet regularly both formally and informally.  The College offers individual guidance and advice to a degree not usually possible in larger institutions, with corresponding high achievement on the part of its students.
