Edwin Ewart BA BD MMin MTh MPhil - Principal
Edwin teaches Biblical & Historical Theology and Preaching. He has over 20 years of pastoral experience in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland and guest lectured at IBC for 19 years. He took over as Principal in September 2010.

Maurice Dowling BA BD MTh PhD
Maurice teaches Old testament, Historical Theology & Biblical Languages. He has extensive knowledge of European languages regularly travelling to Eastern Europe, teaching and preaching. Maurice has lectured at IBC for 35 years.

Alan Baird - Ministry Tutor
Alan is our Ministry Studies Tutor and teaches Pastoral Subjects & Preaching. Alan worked for many years in industry as a research and design engineer. After study at Irish Baptist College, he served for almost 25 years in pastoral work in Dungannon and Millisle and as Association President from 2001 to 2002. Alan joined IBC in September 2007.

Ken Scott LTh MA Mlitt PhD - Postgraduate Tutor (part time).
Ken teaches Missions Subjects. He served as a pastor in the Orkney Islands (1971-72), then in Peru for 18 years with Latin Link. Returning to the UK he was Director of Studies at the Belfast Bible College for 9 years and subsequently returned to Peru in 2000, serving with Baptist Missions. Ken joined IBC at the end of 2007.

Peter Firth BD - Biblical Studies Tutor
After some 25 years of pastoral experience in Ireland and Scotland including a period at Charlotte Chapel Edinburgh, Peter joined the College staff in August 2010. His main responsibilities are teaching New Testament and Biblical Languages.

Nigel Younge BSc DipTh PGCE - Director of Training
Nigel teaches Missions Subjects. He worked in the IT industry for 15 years and after theological study, 8 years with SIM in Niger, West Africa. He joined the staff in June 2007.

Valerie Hamilton - Registrar
Students are no strangers to Valerie who joined IBC in October 2006, after having spent many years in the Administrative Office in Stranmillis University College, Belfast.

David Haigh BSc BA PGCE - Administrative & Library Assistant (part-time)
David comes to IBC after many years experience in education as a deputy principal and teacher of mathematics. He joined the staff in October 2008.
