:: Preparation for Ministry
The Preparation for Ministry course aims to give students the key building blocks to enable them to be better equipped to minister.
The course, validated by the University of Chester { www.chester.ac.uk/trs }, leads to the Bachelor of Divinity (if the biblical languages are studied over the three years) or the Bachelor of Theology. In addition students may exit with the Certificate of Higher Education in Theology after 1 year's study or the Diploma of Higher Education in Theology after 2 year's study.
The course is intensely practical with placements in all three years and many other opportunities during the college year to put into practice what is being learnt.
For students under 21 years of age 3 'A' levels at C grade or equivalent is required for admission. For those over 21 there is a mature entry path based on experience and/or other qualifications.
For those who may not met these requirements the course can be assessed at college level leading to the College's Diploma in Ministry Studies.
